Allie was raised in the Kentucky bluegrass with a love for horses. At age 13 she found a passion volunteering with a therapeutic riding non-profit that ultimately altered the direction of her life. After graduating with her Bachelors in Science in Nursing and becoming a Registered Nurse, Allie and her husband founded Safe Haven Equine Ministries. Allie directed Safe Haven for 7 years while also working full-time as a nurse and raising 3 foster children. As a PATH CTRI, PATH Mentor, CHA Level 2 Instructor, Stable Moments® Provider, and Certified Therapeutic Foster Parent, Allie now works full-time as the Executive Director of Justin’s Place. Allie has 18+ years of non-profit experience in many roles including volunteer, barn manager, volunteer coordinator, program director and executive director.
